Situation:
I saw the grain in our dining room table and I wondered if I could enhance the oak grain even further. I took the shot and then processed it in Nik Color Efex 4, using mainly the detail extractor to bring out the grain.

What I thought was really interesting is how the natural grain of the wood was actually interrupted when the table was made by putting a straight grain between the two more interesting sections of grain.
