I took a number of pictures of the Lansing Bridge also known as the Black Hawk Bridge as it spans between Lansing Iowa and Ferryville Wisconsin (which is found in Crawford County)

This bridge represents a unique design on the Mississippi River and is situated on the Upper Mississippi. Construction started in 1929 and was completed in 1931. It's a riveted cantilever through truss bridge designed by Melvin B Stone. The steel for the bridge came from Inland Steel Company.
