Welcome to my gallery where I am celebrating the Grand Tour of Sicily for this 2017 holiday season.
After I experienced the special exhibit of the wonderful watercolors done by Fabrice Morieau in Palermo at the Palatine Palace, I decided that it would be great to emulate his approach. I liked the simplicity that his watercolors showed of the various towns along the Grand Tour in Sicily.
I used my original photographs and then used Topaz software to create either watercolors or oil paintings. The original photographs were taken during our November Rick Steves tour of Sicily, which was really a grand tour.
