The old saying is that "curiosity will kill the cat". Today I was shooting some pictures of flowers using flash and that gosh darn cat decided that she wanted to be the center of attention. This shot and the next couple are variations on one picture that I took, using a black cloth backdrop and one single flash unit that was at her eye level.
Post processing:
The image was first resized in Photoshop and then further transformed using an effect in OnOne Software. The effect was postcard. Some masking was done to bring color to Mittsey, only.
