The Situation: I was shopping at Maplewood Meat Market in Green Bay, WI. My husband was filling up the cupboard and freezer with all sorts of meats. It took a while so I was roaming around the facility and pulled out my camera.

What attracted me: I was interested in the white curtains, the partially stained glass window, and the poinsettia against the snowy Wisconsin background.

Equipment: Canon g-12, hand-held

What I did afterwards: Since this is a backlit shot, I took the original and lightened and saturated the colors using Vivezia by Nik Software. I also add some detail to the curtains since they got a bit washed out.
