There are two people that influenced my challenge choice for this month: Alfred Stieglitz and Minor White.

I happened to see some of Stieglitz's work on clouds and "equivalents" when at Bentonville Arkansas. I was amazed at how he was able to show a mass of forms that were interesting and engaging. And clouds are something that can have mystery and intrigue on a daily basis.

Minor White took this a bit further and talked about what the photo represented. He was more of an abstracter, looking for tangible meaning as he shot his photos.

This gallery is a combination of Stieglitz's and White's approaches.
