PAD April 3 Governor Nelson State Park
What attracted me:
We were walking the the Oak dominated woodlands at Governor Nelson State Park outside of Madison. There were a number of trees that had blankets of violets underneath them. I liked this simple configuration of three violets and the lighting was even at this time (rather than strong contrast of shadows and highlights when the sun peaked from behind the clouds)
Photographic considerations:
I had my P&S with me that day and nothing else. I've been hiking or biking a lot with this camera and I am getting used to taking good macro shots by using the zoom lens rather than the macro capability.
This shot is shown as is. No cropping or color refinements.
