What attracted me:
During my walk around the block to stretch my legs after too much computer work, I saw these tulips that were shining in the bright light. I liked the fact that there was light shining through and the resulting shadows within the red.

Photographic considerations:
It was a bit windy and I was in manual exposure. I wanted the reds to be vibrant so i carefully watched my histogram, especially the RGB. I took a couple of different shots, because I wasn't sure how the background would look.

The only processing was a little bit of cropping. I tried changing some of the conditions, lie saturation and structure in Viveza, but liked my original composition better. So, this is just cropped a little bit, with no other adjustments.
