What attracted me:
I looked back while taking a walk around my block and noticed these flowers. I continued my little exercise phase and then grabbed my camera. I loved the three colors of yellow, red, and white against the white background.

Photographic considerations:
I was a little concerned that the white flower and the white background would wash out the colors, so I shot this at three different exposures and then processed them slightly as an HDR shot in Photomatix. No other adjustments were made, like cropping.

I also used my new little tripod, which was great for the three exposures under slightly windy conditions. The combination of the 180 macro lens and the tripod were a help during this shot.
